conscious craftsmanship Tradition, evolving techniques, skill and agronomic knowledge are essential elements that come together and eventually find their way into the bottle and then into the glass. All our choices are based on the concept of conscious craftsmanship. Thanks to the experience we have gained over time and the awareness of the consequences of each choice, we strive to create an outstanding product without using complicated or artificial processes. We use tradition as a starting point to create a unique wine from there. We consciously chose to vinify our grapes monocépage because we strongly believe in our terroir and in respecting the characteristics of each individual grape variety. Each resulting wine maximally expresses its origin and tells the story of its area and the unique characteristics that define it. We are affiliated with FIVI, the Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), which promotes and protects the independent winegrower: the one who defends his terroir, cultivates his vineyard, harvests and vinifies his grapes, bottles his wine and sells it himself, managing the entire production chain. Striving for improvement while respecting tradition, propagating the fruits of our work and culture with great pride, as well as hospitality and invitation to taste, are principles we fully subscribe to.
Umbria is a diverse Italian wine region in the heart of Italy, located between Tuscany, Lazio and Marche. This region is known for its pristine landscape, hilly vineyards and focus on indigenous grape varieties. Thanks to the continental climate with warm days and cool nights, winemakers here produce wines with depth, freshness and distinct character. The most famous wine from Umbria is undoubtedly Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, made from the powerful Sagrantino grape. This wine is known for its intense aromas of dark fruits, spices and earthy notes, combined with firm tannins and excellent aging potential. In addition, Sangiovese plays an important role in accessible yet elegant red wines such as Montefalco Rosso. White wine lovers are also in their element in Umbria. Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino yield fresh, mineral and aromatic white wines, perfect with fish, vegetables and Italian cuisine. Whether you are looking for a powerful red wine or a fresh white Italian wine with character, Umbria offers authentic wines with a strong identity and a long tradition.
