Santojanni – La Signorina – Malvasia di Basilicata – IGT<\/h1>\r\nThe La Signorina – Malvasia di Basilicata IGT 2024 is made from 100% Malvasia di Basilicata, an aromatic grape variety grown in Forenza (Basilicata), at 704 meters above sea level.

\r\nThe vineyards cover about 2 hectares and are managed according to the Guyot system on soils of medium composition. The yield is about 40 quintals per hectare. Harvesting takes place between late September and early October and is completely manual in perforated crates.

\r\nVinification follows the classic white wine method: after destemming, the grapes are gently pressed. A brief skin soaking under protection of dry ice (to prevent oxidation) precedes fermentation, which lasts about 15 days at 12 \u00b0C.\r\nAfter static clarification, the wine matures for 3 months on fine lie (sur lie), followed by 6 months of bottle aging before release.

\r\n\r\nAPPEARANCE: Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections.

\r\n\r\nSCENT: Floral and fruity, with notes of citrus and ripe white fruit, with peach in the foreground and a subtle almond note in the finish.

\r\n\r\nTASTE: Fresh and elegant, with a juicy and mineral finish that provides balance and refinement.
