Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero- Roero Arneis Sru Riserva – Arneis – DOCG – BIO<\/h1>\r\nThe Roero Arneis DOCG Sru Riserva 2023 is made from 100% Arneis, a native grape variety of the Roero, sourced from a single vineyard in the municipality of Canale d’Alba. In this particular plot, where the soil contains a greater clay component than the typical sandy soils of the region, Arneis develops more depth, structure and a distinct vertical style.\r\n
\r\nThe eastern exposure at about 300 meters above sea level and the average age of 25 years of the vines contribute to concentration and balance. Harvesting takes place in mid-September and is done entirely by hand. After destemming, there is a 24-hour cold peeling followed by gentle pressing and slow fermentation at controlled temperature to maintain aromatic precision and tension.\r\n
\r\nAging in stainless steel for about 12 months, with regular b\u00e2tonnage, gives the wine additional structure and complexity. The Riserva is not released to the market until about 24 months after harvest, allowing it to reach its full harmony.\r\n
\r\nIt is an Arneis with more depth and storage potential, refining and gaining complexity over time.
\r\n\r\nAPPEARANCE: Intense and bright straw yellow.
\r\n\r\nSCENT: Elegant and layered, with aromas of white flowers, ripe citrus and pale yellow fruit. With ripening, balsamic and mineral nuances develop.
\r\n\r\nTASTE: Structured and vertical, with a powerful attack and broad development on the palate. The minerality supports a long, precise and persistent finish.
