Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero – Nebbiolo d’Alba – Nebbiolo – DOC – BIO<\/h1>\r\nThe Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC 2023 is made from 100% Nebbiolo, a native grape variety of Piedmont, grown in the vineyards of Cascina Valmenera in the municipality of Vezza d’Alba. The vines, planted in the late 1990s, stand in a natural amphitheater with southwest exposition on sandy and calcareous soils of maritime origin. \r\n

\r\nIn this setting, Nebbiolo is fully expressed with elegance, structure and aromatic finesse, balancing power and precision.\r\n

\r\nHarvest takes place between late September and early October and is done entirely by hand in small crates. Vinification includes fermentation at controlled temperature for about 15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in tank. \r\n

\r\nAging occurs partly in barriques of second passage and partly in large wooden barrels for about 8-9 months. After assemblage, the wine rests for another 4-5 months in stainless steel before bottling.

\r\nAPPEARANCE: Ruby Red.

\r\nSCENT: Fine and delicate, with aromas of rose and violets, wild strawberry and raspberry.

\r\nTASTE: Dry and harmonious, with good structure and a lingering finish.
