La Corte - Grignolino d'Asti - Grignolino - DOC - BIO

The Grignolino d'Asti DOC Organic 2022 is made from 100% Grignolino, a native Piedmont grape variety grown in the municipality of Agliano Terme, in the heart of the province of Asti. The vineyards are managed according to the Guyot system on clay and sandy soils and are managed organically. Yields are limited to about 40 quintals per hectare, ensuring balance and concentration. Harvesting is done manually in crates between September and October. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures (23-24 °C), with the aim of preserving the typical varietal expression and distinctive tannic structure of the Grignolino, a grape known for its finesse and character.

APPEARANCE: Intense ruby red with orange reflections that develop with aging.

SCENT: Delicate aromas of plum and cherry, with an elegant varietal touch.

TASTE: rosy and harmonious, with the characteristic light tannins of the grape. Good persistence and balance.

PRODUCTION: Red wine - Grignolino d'Asti DOC Organic
ALCOHOL: 14%
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18-20 °C

Organic wines, from the heart of Monferrato

La Corte – Famiglia Sillano was founded in 2022, when Fabrizio, with the help of his wife Paola and daughters Alice and Giulia, took over the winery and vineyards of a historic organic estate in Agliano Terme and mastered its philosophy and methods. Our vineyards Our vineyards are located in Agliano Terme, Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno, in the province of Asti. Airy hills, clay and sandy soils, varied location: each plot has its own character, which we maintain and vinify with care. Here our wines are born, rooted in the land and attuned to the rhythm of the seasons. Discover our wines We practice certified organic viticulture. During the growing season, we tend the vineyards by hand and leave the grass between the rows: we do not mow it until after August so that it provides shade and keeps the soil cooler. The ground also provides food and shelter for insects and birds, promoting biodiversity. Certified Organic We practice certified organic viticulture. During the growing season, we maintain the vineyards by hand and leave the grass between the rows untouched: we do not roll it until after August, so that it casts shade and keeps the soil cooler.
